Those most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change are often those least engaged in using their voices and choices to safeguard their families. There is a myth that living more sustainably is expensive and inaccessible. We are passionate about busting those myths, about helping people of all backgrounds to connect with the significant cost of living, health and social justice benefits of engaging with sustainability in their homes and communities.
This funding will support an increase in the important work of our Community Outreach Lead and our Community Hub in supporting marginalised and hard to reach groups with advice, skills workshops, funding signposting and a safe space for discussion, often through partnerships and collaborations with the charities and community groups who represent them.
